KCWA Family and Social Services provide information on health services to help immigrants to easily access health services provided by the mainstream health care system. Also, we educate immigrants and the public on personal health care issues by providing workshops, seminars, and meetings and by collecting and disseminating information on that topic. In addition, we provide support for immigrants affected by debilitating diseases, illnesses and conditions by offering education and counselling and by establishing mutual support groups.

KCWA has successfuly completed a two year Breast Cancer Awareness Project funded by the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Ontario Chapter.

We believe that maintaining good health is a underlying condition for a successful settlement experience.
